Cognitive and educational assessment is particularly useful for children and teenagers who are struggling at school. In depth psychological assessment assists families and teachers to understand a young person's strengths and weaknesses and tailor educational curriculums to an individual's needs. Assessment findings may also help families to gain access to extra funding and resourcing at school.
Dr Rosalind Case provides a range of cognitive, learning and developmental assessments with the aim of identifying the cause of a child's learning difficulties and developing a plan for addressing their difficulties. Dr Case works closely with teachers and schools to help educators understand children's individual needs. Dr Case also assists schools to develop and maintain behaviour management plans where necessary. Support is ongoing as necessary.
